We are still seeking speakers for presentations on the following topics:

- How to select the right EMR system for both hospital functionality and practices

- Implementation lessons for physicians
- Integration of portals and PHRs into EMRs
- Cell phone applications
- Physicians’ use of cell phone-stored data in the exam room
- Physician-patient communication systems such as appointment management (reminders, etc.)
- Patient- physician communication systems
- Disease management functions developed on cell phones
- Web resources on the phone
- Integration into financial applications
- Data collection for research
- Security and confidentiality measures
- Changing workflow with EMRs
- Information capture: Speech recognition and other methods
- Decision-support systems for physicians
