is extremely easy-to-use product designed for the physician
offices - small, medium or large. It provides unified
tool, including Patient Portal, for physicians and clinicians
to be utilized at the point-of-care for enhancing the
quality of care, increasing the workflow efficiencies,
and increasing patient safety. It is available either
as Web based ASP or on the Servers at physicians offices,
all inclusive of updates to technology and content. Designed
using Microsoft's .Net Framework, Visual Studio.Net, and
SQL Server; mMD.net is compliant to HIPAA's mandates for
security and privacy and interoperability standards such
as HL7, CCR, NCPDP/SureScripts, XML, and DOQ-IT, can be
deployed at " enterprise" level (that is, at
the level of a doctor's office) and as Services Oriented
Architecture for " meta enterprise" (that is,
across the offices on a central server for evolving community
health networks or RHIOs). mMD.Net EHR is focused on providing
tools for managing patient demographics, appointment scheduling,
check-in/check-out, charting, ePrescription, eLab/Test,
charge capture, referral management, patient eligibility,
medical necessity, CCI edits, electronic document management,
patient tracking, dashboard & workflow management, patient
education, clinical best practices, disease management,
documentation templates, transcription management, electronic
faxing, personal health record, and numerous electronic
interfaces for third-party practice management systems
(HL7 ADT and DFT), lab information systems (HL7 ORM and
ORU), retail pharmacies (using NCPDP SureScripts), drug
formularies (RxHUB and MediMedia), and Patient Portal
(mMD.Net's module or any third-party PHR). mMD.net also
